各位法友新年好！
回顧過去一年，CBETA 的作業成果及未來可能進展簡報如下：
一、新收典籍
《太虛大師全書》（共 32 冊，目錄詳見附件一）前面 15 冊將於 2022 年第 1 季發行，預計 2022 年全部數位化上線。另外《中國佛寺志》、《佛教大藏經》及《嘉興藏》部份典籍也在待收錄排程。
二、用字修訂
為因應海內外廣大的讀者回饋，增聘多位學有專精的校訂人員，於 2021 年約校訂 3800 筆用字修訂。在新收典籍數量愈趨減緩的未來，經文內容品質的提昇將是一大重點，特別是深具堅實考證基礎的用字修訂作業。
三、新式標點
新增《大正藏》新式標點經文 93 部 699 卷（目錄詳見附件二）。主要集中在經疏部 T33-39（目前 T33-36 已上線，全部將於 2022 年第 1 季上線），我們會努力早日完成 CBETA 佛典集成中《大正藏》全文新式標點使命。
四、閱藏系統
- 單機版 CBReader
- 已開發原生 Mac 版 CBReader 64 位元。
- Windows 版 C# 版 CBReader 開發中。
- 以上二種版本依各系統進行開發，捨棄過去跨平台架構，以提高程式效能及未來更多支援。
- 網路版 CBETA Online
- 新首頁與新搜尋功能正式上線，並新增多詞 NEAR 功能。
- 國圖善本部類增加掃描文件對應。
- 以自製 webfont 顯示罕見字，改善閱讀體驗。
- 進行中的功能開發有：Exclude 搜尋、夾註文字獨立處理。
五、資訊應用
- 規劃非營利組織會員所採購之雲端空間及軟體。
- 使用 AI 人工智慧偵測可能發生的用字錯誤。
- 開發由行首資料呼叫圖檔程式。
- 開發直接由壓縮檔秀圖程式。
- 開發新標專用文字編輯程式。

Dear Friends in Dharma,
New year greetings to everyone!
We are grateful to share some of the highlights CBETA has made in 2021 and those in progress.
- Newly Included Texts
The first fifteen volumes of the Collected Works of Master Taixu will be made available in spring 2022, and the complete volume should be ready towards the end of 2022 (Appendix 1). Furthermore, selections from the Chinese Buddhist Temple Gazetteers, the Fojiao Canon, and the Jiaxing Canon will be archived.
- Text Editing
With critical inquiries on text boosted through various user feedback channels and the expansion of the repository slowing down, we have now shifted our focus towards establishing a better-quality edition, an edition based on critical analysis and evaluation. New colleagues trained in textual criticism have joined CBETA thus reconsidered and determined more than 3800 readings last year.
- Modern Punctuation
Last year, we processed 93 works (699 fascicles) of the Taishō Tripiṭaka, mainly the division of the commentary to sūtra (T33-39). T33-36 are already accessible, and the remaining will be made available in spring 2022 (Appendix 2). We are committed to introducing modern punctuation into the Taishō Tripiṭaka and will press toward its completion.
- Text Readers
a. CBReader, the stand-alone desktop version
- Developed a native version of CBReader for Mac (64bit).
- A C# version for Windows is in development.
- For optimized performance and advanced support, both versions are native applications.
b. CBETA Online Reader, the web-based version
- Launched a new homepage and a new search engine with additional multi-keyword NEAR lookup.
- Set up accessible scanned images of the Selections from the Taipei National Central Library Buddhist Rare Book Collection.
- Created Webfont for the display of rare characters.
- New search functions (keyword exclusion, in-text annotation) are in development.
- Technology Applications
- Organized cloud storage and software intended for nonprofits.
- Application of artificial intelligence for character-error detection is under development.
- Developed an image display software that reads page reference numbers.
- Developed an image display software that reads compressed files.
- Developed software for modern punctuation project.
